We will be dining at The Fox and Goose at Coombe Bissett, Blandford Rd, Coombe Bissett SP5 4LE


We return to The Fox & Goose which can be found beside the main road in Coombe Bissett just outside Salisbury. It is a Free house and has local and national real ales available, wines from around the world, traditional home-cooked food and an open fire creating a pleasant warm atmosphere.

Local Dining Out Group Monthly Charity Raffle:


On Wednesday 21st November 2018 we will be supporting the local charity
Happy Dogs Rescue with our monthly raffle.

About "Happy Dogs Rescue"

Happy Dogs is a small, unique registered Charity founded by Lyn Williams some thirty-five years ago. The aim has always been to rescue and rehome abused, abandoned and neglected dogs into loving and knowledgeable permanent homes. They do not have, or use kennels, the dogs live in the home environment of the Sanctuary until they are rehomed. The old and ill who cannot be rehomed live out their days there enjoying the company of the other dogs that come and go. All their dogs receive the very best of Veterinary attention. They are based in Ringwood and they operate within a 30-mile radius of Ringwood.



Your ticket for our November 2018 dinner will cost £26.00 per person.
(This includes your travel to the restaurant, a Two Course Dinner and tips for our driver and the restaurant staff)

Booking Cut-Off Time

We need to receive your booking, menu choices and payment by early evening on:
Wednesday 14th November 2018
Please try not to leave it until this date as we may be fully booked.


Tickets will be allocated on a first booked and paid basis.
It may be necessary to return bookings if received after we have sold out. It would be a good idea to enquire first before sending
your booking/payment the nearer we get to the 14th November 2018
(If tickets remain unsold, later bookings may be accepted depending upon how near we are to the 14th November and whether the restaurant will
accept more bookings.)

IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee any refunds for late cancellations, after the 14th November, unless we have diners on a waiting list
who will not only take the place but also the menu choices you made.

Main Course:

[PIE] Steak, Sausage and Mushroom Pie – Tender pieces of Beef with Sausage and Mushrooms in a rich gravy
encased in shortcrust pastry served with New potatoes and Vegetables.  
[CHICKEN] Hunters Chicken – Chicken breast wrapped in Bacon coated in BBQ sauce topped with cheese,
served with chips and salad.

[PORK] Grilled Pork chop with an Apple and Cider sauce served with New potatoes and Vegetables.   
[BEEF] Beef Lasagne - Classic baked lasagne topped with cheese, served with garlic bread and side salad. 
[FISH] Hake Fillet – Poached fillet of Hake served with a White Wine and Parsley sauce, Crushed new potatoes
and vegetables.

[BALTI] Vegetable Balti – Broccoli, Carrots, potato and Root vegetables in a medium spice curry sauce,
served with rice, Poppadum and Mango chutney. [V]


[SPONGE] Chocolate Sponge - Served with Cream.

[CRUMBLE] Apple and Berry Crumble – served with Custard.

[CHEESECAKE] Lemon Cheesecake – served with Vanilla Ice Cream.

[ICECREAM] Ice Cream – two scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream.

[CHEESE/BISC] Cheese and Biscuits - Cheddar, Stilton and Brie served with assorted biscuits and Sweet Pickle.

[ROULADE] Strawberry Roulade- Served with Cream.

We have arranged the following pickup points on the evening. We hope these will be near to most peoples houses.
Some times and pickup points may be added or removed according to who is coming on the evening.


The above times are estimates. Please try to be at your pickup point 5 minutes before the listed time as we are often ahead of time.
Can you please make sure that we have your mobile phone number when booking and that you have your phone with you and
switched on once you have left your house. We will make our contact phone number available to you in case of emergency.
